Few days ago, a friend of mine and I, went to an exhibition at SET - Spazio Eventi Tirso in Rome to see the creations of Nathan Sawaya.

This artist creates works of art and sculptures from LEGO bricks, recreates paintings and works by famous artists and his own sculptures. What was for him a simple pastime has become art, through which he proposes the revival of works already seen and new creations. He has even recreated Pantheon, I wonder how many bricks he used.

At the beginning of the exhibition, there's a video in which the artist talks about his passion, he recived his first LEGO box when he was five. This exhibition is funny and colorful and at the end of it there are tables in which there are a lot of LEGO bricks, different in shape and color, and you can just play freely and become the child you were few years ago, you can sit and create whatever you want.

Nathan Sawaya is very skilled and has even recreated ancient Roman statues, "The Kiss" painted by Klimt, the Sphinx and the skeleton of a dinosaur that occupies an entire room. Among the works that I most appreciated, there were many created by him about the human condition, a good food for thought.
